FUEL PUMP SYSTEM ASSEMBLY
Fuel filter
The Fuel filter is used in the fuel supply line to the engine. This helps the
prevention of contaminates from plugging the fuel injectors. The fuel filter is
located in the supply line between the fuel tank, fuel pump and the engine. This
filter protects the fuel injectors from debris in the fuel tank. Drain water from
primary filter as needed. This filter must be changed every 500 hours or every 6
months which ever occurs first.
Fuel Pressure Regulator
The LSA supercharged engine is supplied with a fuel pressure regulator to
provide a constant pressure to the fuel rail and injectors. The fuel pressure must
be set to between 65-67 psi before running the engine. Contact KEM Equipment
or your service dealer if you are unsure of setting the fuel pressure.
