Moving the Printer
4. Position the replacement bottle inside the fluid compartment so that
the collar sits on top of the metal supports. Pull up on the collar of the
bottle while sliding the bottle into the compartment.
5. Attach the ink fitting to the top of the replacement bottle.
6. Close the compartment door.
7. Install the cap from the replacement bottle on the empty bottle.
8. Dispose of the empty bottle in accordance with governmental
regulations.
Moving the Printer
When moving the printer, refer to the following procedure and Figure 2.3
to prevent damage to the printhead and umbilical.
Caution: To avoid fluid leakage that could cause an inkjet (or printhead) short,
ensure the printer and the fluid system are turned off before moving the
printer.
1. If the printer is on, turn it off by pressing [PRINTER ON].
2. Press the circuit breaker switch located on the back of the printer to
the Off position.
3. Unplug the printer from the electrical outlet.
4. Coil the umbilical around the umbilical hanger located on the back of
the printer and cradle the printhead in the coils.
