Unplug the USB cable from the back of your printer.

Unplug your printer from the electrical outlet and wait
approximately15 seconds

Plug your printer back in.

Reconnect the USB cable to the back of your printer.

Turn your computer back on.
Test page does not print
Make sure:
•
You have removed the tape from the cartridges. For help, see
page 2.
•
Your print cartridges are properly installed. For help, see page 2.
•
The printer is set as the default printer.
Printed pages have alternating bands of light and dark
print (intermittent printing)
•
Make sure Enable Buffer Mode is checked on the Options tab of
the Control Program for Windows.
•
Select the High 1200 x 1200 dpi Print Quality setting on the
Document Quality tab of the Printer Properties .
The printer settings I selected changed
When you change printer settings from your application, the
settings apply only to the specific document you opened with that
application. To make the settings apply to all documents, see
page 39.
Transparencies or photos contain white lines

Select the High Quality 1200dpi setting.
•
Your print nozzles may need cleaning. For help, see page 57.
