4.10.4 Firmware Wizard: Setting a static IP address

Note:

More information about LAN settings can be found in the

Mobile Control Software Instructions in the chapter "Firmware Wizard”

(document no. V6851-2).

The device is switched on.

Firmware Wizard is installed and running.

Process

In Firmware Wizard, click <Reset LAN Settings...>.

The window <Device connection settings> opens. Enter serial num-

ber of the device into the text field <Target device serial number>

Select option <Use the following IP address>

Enter the IP address into the text field <IP address>

Optionally, adjust subnet mask and gateway

Click <Reset Conn. Settings>

to accept changes.

Restart the device (recommended).

The device is now accessible via the static IP address.

4.10.5 Firmware Wizard: Setting a dynamic IP address

The device is switched on.

Firmware Wizard is installed and running.
