NOVAR 2100/2200 Operating Manual
If the multiplier is set different from 1 the CT-ratio (or the VT-ratio) is
displayed with leading flashing arrow
or
, depending on the
multiplier value is higher or lower than 1.
At direct voltage connection mode (without VT), the voltage multiplier is not used and it value is not
displayed.
4.3.2.3 Backlight Parameter, No. 80
LCD display backlight can be set as permanently on (
0
n
) or to auto-off mode (
A
U
t
), in which it
is switched off automatically during approx. 5 minutes if no button is pressed to decrease the
instrument power dissipation.

4.3.3.1 Target Power Factor for Tariff 1/2, Parameter No. 01/06
The value of target power factor for tariff 1/tariff 2 is displayed in the line 2 of the parameter group
01/06. Negative value means lagging power factor, the positive one leading power factor.
It can be specified in one of three formats :
•
cos φ
...cosinus of the voltage and current phasors angle; range -0,80 ÷ 0.80
•
tan φ
...tangens of the voltage and current phasors angle; range -0,75 ÷ 0.75
•
φ
...voltage and current phasors angle in degrees; range -35° ÷ +35°
To toggle between the formats, use the
key while the parameter editing.
When a power factor decimal point flashes the offset control is activated. See parameter 13.
