8. Check the electrical installation for any breakage. Check
the motors’ rotations.
9. Start-up of the air handling unit consists in connecting
one or three-phase motors powering the fan to the po-
wer supply.
10. Check the current consumption of the motor powering
the fan.
11. In air handling units with secondary filtering sections, it
is advisable to perform a test start-up of the air handling
unit without secondary filter inserts.
After the adjustment, the air handling unit may be started
only when the door of the fan block is closed. Please follow
the recommendations of section 7.

3.5.1 Wiring (optional)
The main control panel block can be optionally wired. Wi-
ring does not apply to the electric heater control unit, wa-
ter heater circulation pump, heater and water cooler valve
actuators and airflow sensor. These elements are delivered
loose and assembled by the customer outside the control
panel. They are connected to the main cable harness by me-
ans of quick-connectors, placed in dedicated boxes marked
with the letters WH and B.
For simple interpretation of control signals, each connector
is described according to the legend below:
The WH box (power supply for the water heater circula-
tion pump:
L – voltage 230V/AC N – neutral
EP – earthing
Can B :
24V – power supply
GND – ground
S2F – water heater thermostat S4F – electric heater thermo-
stat B1 – air supply temperature sensor
Y1 – 0-10VDC signal for heater valve cylinder orfor EH
1S2H – Intake filter pressure switch signal EH – start signal
for EH
Y2 – 0-10VDC signal for cooler valve cylinder or Y9 [YFX] for
the chiller [reversible]
CX1 – signal of I stage of cooling CX2 – signal of II stage of
cooling
H/C – AFX sequence change signal – reversing system alarm
DEF – defrosting the reversing system
Other descriptions:
RSA – communication port A of RS485 connector RSB
– communication port B of RS485 connector – motor alarm
1Y1 – control of shut-off dampers [M1, M2] B... – tempera-
ture sensors [T]
Y4 – 0-10VDC signal for bypass actuator [M3] 1S2H – pull-o-
ut filter switch signal [P]
1S1F – pressure switch/transmitter signal of the supply air
fan [P].
1S2F – signal of the pressure switch/converter of the
exhaust fan [P].
2S1R – recovery pressure switch [P].
The cabling does not provide for preparation of the auto-
mation system for operation.
Starting the unit with an unadjusted installa-
tion must be done with the air intake damper
closed and with the fan block door closed.
