REMOVING A DOOR SWITCH AND THE POWER SWITCH

Unplug refrigerator or disconnect power.

Lift the main decorative panel to unhook it
and remove the panel.

Lift and remove the louvered decorative
panel.

Electrical Shock Hazard

Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before
operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.

To remove a door switch:

a) With the door closed, remove the hex-

head screw from the door linkage at the
top of the door. NOTE: The door spring
will remain under slight tension when
the door is closed.

Main Decorative Panel

Louvered Decorative Panel

Remove the eight screws from the unit
compartment front cover, and pull the cover
forward out of the way.

c) Remove the two hex-head screws from

the door switch cover and remove the
cover.
