•
Float voltage setting has to be 0.4V below Bulk Voltage setting and 0.2V above the recharge voltage
setting.
Note: For 24V system, all voltages are doubled.

Consult the battery manufacturer when choosing the charging current of the battery bank. For a sealed
lead acid battery, the rule of thumb for the maximum charging current is to use 1/5 of the battery capacity.
•
During periods when high powered AC loads are connected to the AC Output, the battery charger current
will automatically be reduced so that the total AC Input current (AC Output C AC Charger Current)
is maintained below the set AC Input Circuit Breaker (Cbr) values. This function is to avoid, the tripping of
the AC Source Circuit Breaker that supplies the AC Power to the unit. See more details in AC Source
Circuit Breaker Function.
•
This setting limits the total AC current draw from the shore power during the By-Pass/Charger mode to
avoid tripping the shore power Branch Breaker.

•
This sets the threshold for the transition from Absorption stage to Float stage during the charging cycle.
•
If an external DC load is connected to the battery bank, a higher current setting is recommended to
compensate for the extra current drawn from the battery.
Recharge Voltage Setting:
The voltage determines the restart cycle of the battery bank. The battery will go through a full recharge
cycle when the battery terminate voltage drops to the set values. The selectable voltage range is 12.8
–
14.0 (
12.8V - Default).
•
The voltage has to be with a minimum of 0.4V below the Float voltage setting.
Note: For 24V systems, all voltages are doubled.

There is no voltage adjustment compensation when Lithium, Program or Power Supply is selected.
Note: For 24V systems, all the voltages are doubled.
Battery Recharge Timer:
The charger will restart a full charging cycle if the float stage is maintained for 7 days.
