The pad shoe holds the film on the sprocket.

On combined sprockets the pad shoe can be changed from 70 mm to 35 mm film
format or vice versa.

The film stripper prevents broken film from being wound up around the sprocket.

With the handle you can open the pad shoe to thread the film.

The stop ball holds the open pad shoe in position, so you can easily thread the film.
