3. Rotate the backing flange (17b) until
its hole is aligned with the notch in
the gear head (15).
4. Insert the bigger end of multi-tool
(21) into the hole to lock the spindle
(17).
5. Screw the trimmer head (16) onto
the spindle (17) and tighten it in
anticlockwise by hand (Fig. 9).
6. Remove the multi-tool (21).

Connection to power supply
NOTE:
The product is equipped with a power cord with the length
of 1

m. If a proper extension cord is required for operation. Observe
the technical requirements for this product when purchasing an
extension cord.
Always use a residual current supply (RCD) protected supply.
1. Double the power cord (5) back, about 60 cm from the power guard and
lead the loop through the hole of the rear safeguard (4). Pull it over the cord
retainer (4) and gently tug on the power cord (5) to ensure that it is firmly
secured (Figs. 10, 11).

2. Connect the plug of power cord (5) with a suitable socket.
