Clearing alarms
After eliminating the causes of the alarm, you can cancel the alarm from BPC4000.
If an alarm still occurs even after you have corrected all the causes of alarms, the product may be
malfunctioning. Stop using this product immediately, and contact your Kikusui agent or distributor.
DUT connection function
The DUT connection function measures voltages in the output cable connected to the DUT and in the
voltage sensing cable. If the function detects a difference in the measurements, it assumes that the
connection is incorrect and cancels the execution of a test. It can prevent accidents when the voltage
sensing cable is loose or when there is an error in the connections. The DUT connection function operates
immediately before charging or discharging starts.
For more information on the DUT connection function settings, see the manual for Test Condition Editor in
BPC4000.
Warning occurrences
This product has the following warning functions.
If there is a possibility of a protection function being activated during test
execution, a warning occurs before the execution (during standby state). The
ALARM/WARNING LED lights orange.
You cannot input any test condition parameters nor start a test once a warning
has occurred.
The system is monitored to detect warnings at any time.
Clearing warnings
Remove the root cause of the warning.
If a warning still occurs even after you have corrected all the causes of warnings, the product may be
malfunctioning. Stop using the PFX2731S immediately, and contact your Kikusui agent or distributor.
