Keysight E1418A Service Guide

Verification Tests

Performance Verification Tests

Measure the output voltage with the DMM, enter it in the table and compare
the measured voltage to the limits shown in the table. The compliance current
is inferred from the voltage across the resistor.

Open the channel output relay by sending the OUTPutn OFF command, where
n is the channel number.

Change the connections to the next channel and repeat steps 2, 3, and 4.

6

Repeat steps 2, 3, 4, and 5 for each channel.

DC Voltage Short Circuit Output Current

This test checks the short circuit output current for each channel.

For each channel in the module, connect the DMM as shown in Figure 4-3.
Channel 1 connections are shown in the figure. Connect the other channels in
a similar manner. Set the DMM to measure dc current (the DMM should have
a current shunt of 100 Ω or less for this test).

Set the channel to 16.00 V. Use the APPLyn:VOLTage 16.00
command, where n is the channel number.
