Step 2. Turn on the oscilloscope
The next few steps (turning on the oscilloscope, loading the default setup, and
inputting a waveform) will provide a quick functional check to verify the
oscilloscope is operating correctly.

Connect the power cord to a power source.
Use only power cords designed for your oscilloscope.
Use a power source that delivers the required power.
