Installing the cable conduit
Route the cable conduit (DN70) up to the cable gland (1)
(DN50) in the drain body and fit.
Use max. 45° bends for changes in direction.
If the cable conduit is to be installed in the upper section,
it must be carried out with the KESSEL hole saw art. no.
500101 or a standard hole saw Ø 60 mmand the pipe
penetration seal art. no. 850114.
The connection of the electric cables is explained in the
enclosed control unit instructions.

Installing the upper section
Depending on installation depth, the upper section (1)
(insertion depth of the upper section) may have to be cut to
length or have recesses (4) made in it for the cable connec-
tions, which are fed into the side of the drain body (3).
The upper section (1) may only be extended by a maxi-
mum of 2 extension sections, so that it remains possible
to reach into the drain body for maintenance purposes.
Insert the seal (2) grease-free into the groove on the
drain body (3).
Grease the sealing lips of the seal (2) (A).
Push the upper section (1) into the drain body and align
it.
