The radio-controlled mowing was primarily designed for mowing areas on a slope
up to a pitch angle of 50° = 120%.
An internal combustion engine (9) drives a generator (16) via a connecting timing
belt drive (17), which provides the electrical energy for the electric caterpillar
drives (13 and 18) and the electric drive of the mulch mowers (12). Between the
generator (16) and the three drive motors (12, 13 and 18) four lead batteries
connected in series are placed as buffer batteries (8). These buffer batteries (8)
allow the mower to be temporarily processed without an internal combustion
engine (9).
The Tracked Mower is operated by a wireless remote control (see chapter
6.2 Wireless wireless remote control on page 33).
