a . F R E Q / A (frequency) mode
The F R E Q / A mode is an operational mode in
which t h i s counter measures the frequencies of
input s i g n a l s to channel A and outputs them
to the display section. They are displayed in
either kHz or MegaHerz ( M H z ) . The display
unit can be selected w i t h display unit select
s w i t c h @ and indicated by either display unit
indicator L E D ® or (D. The display resolution
can be selected w i t h G A T E s w i t c h © .
The measurement frequency ranges in each
display range are a s f o l l o w s :
kHz range :
5Hz to 10MHz
Measurement s e n s i t i v i t y :
5Hz to 5 M H z : 20mV r m s
M H z range :
1MHz to 175MHz
Measurement s e n s i t i v i t y :
5 M H to 125MHz : 50mV r m s
125MHz to 150MHz : 100mV r m s
150MHz to 175MHz : 150mV r m s
The proper range should be used according to
input signal frequencies w i t h each range char-
a c t e r i s t i c s f u l l y in mind,
b. P E R / A (Period) mode
The P E R / A mode is an operational mode in
which t h i s product measures the period
of input s i g n a l s to channel A and then
outputs them to the display section. They
are displayed in the unit selected by display
unit select s w i t c h @ . T h a t display unit is
indicated by either display unit indicator L E D
