Technical modifications and errors expected.
WARNING
Cleaning filter inserts is not permissible. This will lead inevitably
to damage of the filter medium, whereby the filter will no longer
function and hazardous substances will get into the air.
During the work described in the following section, pay particular
attention to the seal on the main filter. Only an undamaged seal
allows the device to achieve a high separation rate. Main filters
with a damaged seal must therefore be replaced every time.
- Use only original replacement filters, because only those guarantee the
necessary separation rate and are matched to the filter equipment and its
performance characteristics. Switch the MiniFil off at the switch (Fig. 3, Pos.
1).
- Prevent unintentional restarting by unplugging the device.
a) Replacing the main filter
•
Lift the replacement filter out of the carton and place it carefully to the side.
•
Open the bottom two clamp fasteners (Fig. 1, Pos. 7) closed up and remove
the unit which is held together by the top clamp fasteners.
•
When doing so, ensure that the filter to be replaced remains in the device.
•
Pull the label affixed to the front of the main filter off and use it to close off the
opening on the top of the main filter.
•
Take hold of the main filter (Fig. 1, Pos. 3) at the front and rear faces and lift it
carefully.
Pull the main filter upwards out of the device.
•
Now place the main filter in the carton which previously contained the new
main filter and close it.
•
In the process make sure as little dust as possible is stirred up.
•
Now place the new main filter in the device in the same manner you used to
remove the old one.
•
Place the pre-separator and cover on the device again and route the pre-
separator pipe socket in the top opening in the main filter while doing so.
b) Replacing the suspended matter filter.
•
Undo the screws (Fig. 5, Pos. 1) anchored to the floor.
•
Now remove the covers (Fig. 5, Pos. 2).
•
Remove the suspended matter filter and place it in the plastic bag supplied
with the replacement filters. Close the bag off with a cable binder.
