DESCRIPTION AND FUNCTION OF THE PARTS
CONTAINER
Note the maximum filling quantity as of 1500ml based on the clear marking on the glass container.
The blender's glass container is made from soda lime silicate glass. It is unbreakable during the
mixing process. It is tasteless and odorless and very stable. The material does not contain any
plasticizers in the form of BPA (bisphenol A) and is very easy to clean. The sports container can
hold a maximum of 600 ml and the small grinder mixing container a maximum of 50 ml. The lid and
the blade attachments of the blender jars are made of polypropylene and are also BPA-free.
The substances and minerals contained in the various foods can leave a film of dirt on the inside of
the plastic blender jug if they are used several times. The containers may discolour or become milky
and cloudy. We therefore recommend cleaning the blender jug at regular intervals.
If you mainly use carotene-containing foods such as carrots, bell peppers or tomato paste, or if you
have used spices that color strongly, such as turmeric, the containers can become discolored.
When grinding grain, beans, rice, sugar, nuts and legumes, the container becomes permanently
milky.
Some green vegetables, spices, and protein powders can also cause this milky appearance. This is
purely cosmetic and has no effect on the function of the container. Please note that the resulting
cosmetic changes are not covered by the guarantee. Follow the instructions for correct cleaning in
the "Care and cleaning" chapter.
With their hard surface, nuts, beans and grains can leave so-called micro-scratches in the plastic,
which can make the blender jug appear cloudy over time. With our cleaning instructions, the signs
of wear and tear are kept within bounds, but can never be completely avoided.
