Live parts
Risk of death or fatal injury due to electric
shock when touching live parts.
• Switch neutral
• Secure against reconnection
• Check for neutrality
• Ground and short-circuit
• Cover or shield any adjacent live parts or
components
• Before carrying out any maintenance work, the
device must be disconnected from the mains
voltage. That means that all live cables must be
switched off. Switching off the device alone is
insufficient, as certain points may remain ener-
gized. Therefore, switch off fuses before perform-
ing any work and – if possible – remove them.
Additional protective measures
Accidental reactivation may result in serious acci-
dents. After deenergizing, immediately secure all
switches and fuses used for deenergizing against
being switched on again.
• Unscrew circuit breakers.
Where circuit breakers cannot be unscrewed, a strip
of adhesive tape can be applied over the actuation
lever with the wording:
DANGER - DO NOT SWITCH
A sign with the text:
WORK IN PROGRESS
Place: ..............................
Sign may only be removed by: ............................
must always and immediately be securely mounted.
• It is essential that you, the owner, and / or the stu-
dio operator check all components for signs of
wear that can occur during normal use.
• After completing the work, refit all safety devices
(e.g. switches).
10.1 Instructions on cleaning,
disinfection and care
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
Before starting to clean the
device, take off any rings, brace-
lets, watches, etc. that you might
be wearing, in order to avoid
scratching the surfaces of the
device.
• Do not use concentrated disinfectant,
solvent or alcoholic liquids.
• Cleaning fluid and/or disinfectant must
not run into the tanning device.
APPLICATION
These symbols have the following meaning.
Apply the cleaning agent
on the chamois or cloth
and not directly on the
surface.
