6   Using the device

13.

Adjust the patient's head position/orientation.

NOTICE! 

 To ensure optimal image quality, pay attention to the correct patient positioning.

LATERAL PROJECTION:

• The patient's Frankfort-Horizontal plane should be horizontal. Use the FH light as a guide.

PA PROJECTION:

• The patient's Frankfort-Horizontal plane should be horizontal.

NOTICE! 

 The horizontal light is not lit for PA projections.

PA REVERSE TOWNE PROJECTION:

• Turn the patient's head downwards until the angle between the patient’s Frankfort-

Horizontal plane and the horizontal light is around 

30°

.

• The patient's mouth should be opened fully and pressed against the neck/upper chest.

NOTICE! 

 The horizontal light is not lit for PA projections.
