(1) Name of each part
1) Power/volume knob (VOL)
To switch the power ON, turn the knob to the right until it clicks.
Keep turning it to the right to increase the volume.
2) Tone control knob (TONE)
Turn the knob to the right to amplify high tone or to the left to
reduce high tone.
3) Display
Used to display the clock, radio frequency and operation mode.
4) Clock button (CLOCK)
Press this button to switch to the clock display. Press it again to
switch back to the frequency display.
5) Auto-store/preset scan button (AST)
Pressing this button plays each preset station for 5 seconds. To
select the desired station and return to normal radio reception
mode, press it again when the desired station is being played.
Hold this button down for more than 2 seconds to switch to the
auto-memory mode.
6) Preset buttons ① to ⑥ (PRESET STATION)
Each button can be preset to one station each in AM (MW) and
FM frequency bands. (See section (6) "Setting presets" regarding
how to preset stations.)
