Here you can use the
buttons to select the type of video signal at the TV Scart socket.
Select the signal that your TV set can process.
When doing this, refer to the operating
instructions for your TV set!

CVBS – Colour Video Baseband Signal or
•
RGB – Red/Green/Blue signal

Use the
buttons here to select the type of screen display.
For TV format 4:3:
“Pan & Scan” or “Letterbox”
For TV format 16:9:
“automatically” or “always 16:9”
PICTURE FORMAT
SETTINGS
Here you can use the
buttons to specify whether your TV set is a
• PAL
or
• NTSC
set.
TELEVISION SYSTEM
Here you can use the
buttons to set the picture format to be transmitted to your TV set via HDMI.
Available options: Auto (automatic format choice), 576p, 720p or 1080i
HDMI FORMAT
Here you can use the
buttons to set whether the automatic stand-by circuit should be activated
after three hours (“On”) or deactivated (“Off”). When this function is activated, after three hours
during which no buttons are pressed on the receiver remote control, you will see the following display:
AUTOMATIC POWER DOWN
Unless a button on the receiver remote control is pressed within two minutes, after two minutes the
receiver will switch automatically into stand-by mode.
However you can switch the receiver back into active mode at any time by pressing the stand-by
button (
?
).
