Thus overcoming parental control, e.g. by deleting the mark or setting
the locked channels by the transponder search run, is excluded (the
lock can also not be overcome via timer).
Note: To deactivate parental control only briefly, e.g. in the evening, you can
switch the {Protection
} input field back to “OFF” in the “Parental Con-
trol” menu.
The “?” marks are not changed in this case and act again after re-
newed activation of parental control, i.e. if the {Protection} input field is
switched back to ON!
Search run
Satellite search run
The satellite search run is over all frequencies of the selected satellite.
Select the desired settings in the order of the menu:
The individual parameters are selected after activation with the [OK]
button and then with the [
► ] or [ ◄ ] buttons.
We recommend starting the search run from time to time to find new
stations. Use the basic settings shown bold in this case.
If you want to search for an individual channel selectively, then you
can shorten the search runtime by restricting known parameters, e.g.
band (low) and symbol rate (22).
Select the desired satellite {ASTRA} > {Hotbird} > {Sat 3} > to
{Sat 8},
The band {Low/High} > {Low} > {High},
(3) the symbol rate {22+27,5} > {22} > {27,5} > {FREE},
or a free symbol rate {XXXX}
(Possible only if the symbol rate under item (3) was changed to
{FREE})
and start the search run with the [OK] button.
Choose whether the search should be for unencrypted or encrypted
channels or for both simultaneously:
Selection: “FREE“ or “CA” or “FREE+CA”
Note: Some of the encrypted channels can also be received freely or freely
from time to time.
