Make sure that the cutting tool is
properly installed and securely
fastened before you start up the
device.
● Do not use the device
if there is a danger of lightning.
● Never start up a device that is
incomplete or is equipped with
unauthorized modifications.
● Never use the device with de-
fective protective devices or with
no installed safety devices.
● Switch off the device in the
case of a malfunction or acci-
dent, and remove the battery
pack. You may only start up the
device again if it has been
checked by an authorized cus-
tomer service centre.

Shrub shears safety warnings
 Keep all parts of the body
away from the cutter blade.
Do not remove cut material
or hold material to be cut
when blades are moving.
Make sure the switch is off
when clearing jammed ma-
terial.
A moment of inattention
while operating the shrub
shear may result in serious
personal injury.
 Carry the shrub shears by
the handle with the cutter
blade stopped. When trans-
porting or storing the shrub
shear always fit the cutting
device cover.
Proper han-
dling of the shrub shear will re-
duce possible personal injury
from the cutter blades.
 Hold the power tool by insu-
lated gripping surfaces on-
ly, because the cutter blade
may contact hidden wiring
or its own cord.
