9.1 Daily cleaning
Following appropriate instructions, the operating personnel may be permitted to proceed with
the cleaning tasks.
CAUTION
Be advised that sharp corners and components on the equipment may cause cut-
ting injuries to hands and fingers during the cleaning process.
NOTE
Lukewarm water and some cleaning detergent is perfectly suitable for the cleaning
purposes. Never attempt to use cleaning agents that contain sand, abrasives, soda,
acid, or chlorine. Do not use chemical solutions.
CAUTION
Do not use spray water when cleaning the juice dispenser.
1
Close the valve to the concentrate bag and dispense about 0.2 L of water into an approp-
riate vessel.
2
Activate the equipment switch in order to turn off the juice dispenser. It is not necessary to
disconnect the mains power plug.
3
In order to prevent the build-up of mould fungi, ensure to remove the residue of juice and
concentrate from the drip tray, the drip grid, the underside of the door, and the splash gu-
ard. Use a mild cleaning agent to clean the equipment and rinse thoroughly.
4
Use clear water to rinse the juice dispenser inside and outside. Use a cloth to wipe the dis-
penser dry.
5
Use a brush or vacuum cleaner to clean the exhaust and inlet air ducts of the juice dispen-
ser. If necessary, remove the air filter from the back panel of the equipment and clean it.
CAUTION
Dirt accumulation on the air filter prevents proper air circulation and may cause da-
mage to the refrigeration system.
