SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Only qualifed persons may carry out the electrical connection of the PlastoFused-Unit with mains
supplies in compliance with applicable regulations. Before using the PlastoFused read the instruction
manual thoughtfully
This tool is not intended to get used by persons (including children) with restricted physically, sonsory
or mental abilities or missing experience and//or knowledge. Keep out of reach of children. Both it
contains cables and hoses, which could lead to strangulations and small components, which could
be swallowed up furthermore it may exist danger of fire by hot components. Operate and keep it
only in areas where the aforesaid persons can`t reach the unit.
The operator must have relevant knowledges and practical experiences in the field of plastic repair.
Only use the PlastoFused if you already read the instruction manual before.
Wear safety glasses! Wear fireproof gloves and dry clothes.
Plastic warmed up very fast. So it can cause burns by contact with your skin. Do not touch the work
surface or the hot air nozzle.
Wear a breath mask because of possible fumes of hot plastic. Ensure enought fresh air intake.
Ignoring this warning may lead to serious damage or accidents that may involve physical injury.
Makr sure that your device has a safe position (for ecample: Our optional trolley).
For commercial applications, you have to follow all safety regulations of your country.
Make sure the unit is cooling down to room temperature.
Do not expose your device moisture, extreme heat or cold, extreme temperature changes, strong
vibrations, humidity, mechanic influences or other adverse conditions.
Keep away combustible objects from the area of the unit. Increased fire risk.
During the whole heating, working and cool down process you have to make sure existing an ope-
rative fire extinguisher near to the working area.
ATTENTION! Do not extinguish with water or other conductive fluids. The unit may carry electrical
voltage. Do not perform any work on living parts!
Do not use damaged cables. Keep the cable away from sharp edges.
Do not exercise mechanic force on the nozzle. It could become deformed and is not able to perform
a correct airflow anymore.
Do not use the PlastoFused if you find any anormalies. Do not open the main housing!
