NFC Operation
NFC is a one touch way of pairing your NFC device via Bluetooth to your speaker.
1. The speaker must be in STANDBY or Bluetooth mode to pair using NFC. Check your
device has NFC enabled.
2. Place the NFC sensor area on the device close to the speaker’s NFC sensor area (it will
work best within 10mm). The speaker will switch on and switch to Bluetooth mode, it
will play a sound to show it is connected via Bluetooth and the Bluetooth LED on the
speaker will light up.
The first time you use a device with NFC or if you have previously used it but unpaired it
you will be asked if you want to connect to the speaker. Confirm you want to connect.
3. Use the controls on the device to select and play music. In Bluetooth mode the PLAY/
PAUSE, /– controls, MUTE button and
/
buttons on the device and
remote control can be used to control playback. Use the controls on the device for all
other functions.
4. To disconnect the device place simply switch the speaker into standby, switch to
another source or switch Bluetooth off on your NFC device.
Distance between device sensor
and sensor area on speaker
should be less than 10mm
• Do not leave your NFC device on top of the speaker, it will cause connection problems. Once
connected or disconnected move your mobile device away from the speakers NFC sensor.
• Do not touch your mobile device to your speaker you may scratch or damage your speaker or mobile
device. Take care when connecting via NFC.
• Your speaker has an auto reconnect feature which will automatically reconnect your Bluetooth device
with your speaker (this feature may not be available on all Bluetooth devices). So as long as Bluetooth
is left switched on, on your mobile device it will automatically reconnect to your speaker when you
come back home, when the speaker is switch on and in Bluetooth mode.
