Express Timer
Programming
You can programme this recorder to timer-record as many as 16
programmes.
If you do not know the S

you wish to record, use the following procedure to set your
recorder to timer-record the programme.

Turn on the recorder.
Press

For the VHS deck:
Insert a cassette with the record safety tab intact.

Access the programme screen.

Enter the programme start time.
Press
START+/–
to enter the time you want recording to
start.

Press and hold

to move in 30-minute increments, or
press and release repeatedly to move 1 minute at a time.
E
Enter the programme stop time.
Press
STOP+/–
to enter the time you want recording to
stop.
●
Press and hold
STOP+/–
to move in 30-minute increments, or
press and release repeatedly to move 1 minute at a time.
F
Enter the programme date.
Press
DATE+/–
.
●
The current date appears on the TV screen. The date you enter
appears in its place.

Enter the channel position.
Press

Set the tape speed.

It is not possible to select EP mode if “COLOUR SYSTEM” is
set to “MESECAM”.

Before performing Express Timer Programming:

Make sure that the recorder’s built-in clock is set properly.

Turn on the TV and select the AV mode.
