How to display the Test pattern
To display the Test pattern to check the image quality prior to the use of the monitor,
press the button located in the front of the monitor as follows.
Select test pattern
1) Activate “Operation Button Guide ① ” by pressing any one of operation buttons
(A–C)
.
2) Press the “ MENU ” button.
3) Select “ TEST PATTERN ” on MENU 1/2 by using the “▲” button or the “▼” button and
press the “ OK ” button.
And then, OSD “TEST PATTERN” appears.
Select the proper test pattern from “ SMPTE pattern ” or “ AAPM TG18-OIQ pattern ”
and press the “ OK ” button.
Default of test pattern depends on the sold market.
Destination Test pattern
North America SMPTE pattern
Area other than North America AAPM TG18-OIQ pattern
SMPTE pattern AAPM TG18-OIQ pattern
Setting method
You can make function buttons (F1 or F2) available to display test patterns.
The following steps tell you how to functionalize the “ F1 ” button to turn on and off the
test pattern.
1) Activate “Operation Button Guide

” by pressing any one of operation buttons
(A–C)
.
2) Press the “ MENU ” button.
3) Select “ FUNCTION ” on MENU 1/2 by using the “▲” button or the “▼” button and
press the “ OK ” button.
Secondly, select “ FUNCTION1 ” on OSD “FUNCTION” and press the “ OK ” button.
4) Select “ TEST PATTERN ” on OSD “FUNCTION1” and press the “ OK ” button.
