8 Operation

Bus status display

The operating status of the digiLine bus is visualized in the title bar. The symbols
used for this and their meaning are explained in the following table.

Green
There are no bus errors. All sensors are linked and functioning.
Red
This symbol appears in the title bar when connecting sensor

electronics that have not yet been linked with the device. As
soon as the sensor electronics are linked, the bus status

changes to "Green". Furthermore, the "Red" status is also dis-
played during a bus scan (manual or after the device is

switched on).
Yellow

The "Yellow" status appears in the title bar when digital sensors
are not linked, e. g. As the result of defective components in

the bus or a faulty configuration (see Chapter 21.1 "Trouble-
shooting and remedies for digital sensors", page 125).
