8.16 - Spacing Change
To make the spacing change proceed in the following away:
a) First lift the planter using the hydraulic cylinder command; next
lock the cylinders of the wheels, utilizing the lock
(Fig. 075) that is fixed beside the hydraulic cylinder
of each wheel system.
b) Mark the center of the machine on the
chassis
c) Taking as base the center of the machine,
mark for the right and for the left the correspondent
measures to the new wanted spacing and place,
where will be put the planting units.
PS: When there are number of odd rows to be
fitted , one of the them must be set up in the center
of the machine chassis.
d) Displace the planting row, loosing the brace
through of the screw.
e) Loose the brace through of screw to displace
the fertilizer row.

In the rows of the wheels, the minimum spacing among
seed and fertilizer rows is of 450mm.
