8.9.1.6 - Length adjustment
1-To adjust the length, arrest the half of the shaft close one to the
other in the short work position, in other words, with the tractor positioned in
closed curve of 80º.in relation to the machine and arch it:
2- Shorten the internal and external protecting tubes equally;
3- Shorten the internal and external sliding profiles in the same length
of the protecting tubes;
4-Remove the tips and barbs, grease the sliding profiles.
No other change can be applied to the shaft and the protection.
ATTENTION
When change the model of the tractor, verify the length
before coupling the shaft.
ATTENTION
Verify all the locks are very tight, before beginning to
work with the shaft.
