8.14.5 - Change of the discs for seed.
For the assembly or substitution of the distributing discs of seeds,
unfastened the wing nuts, remove the cover with visor and the selector of
seeds. Remove the disc that is in the set and place the wanted disc (Fig.
072), being observed the correct side. To set up, make the same operations
above, but in the inverse sense.
ATTENTION
For each seed type will be necessary to use the disc with
appropriate number of holes and diameter (check list of discs)
Before placing the machine in operation, be certified that
the distribution boxes are equipped with the convenient seed
discs and perfectly regulated.
The seed selector is placed on the disc.
The seeds should be treated according to the supplier
instructions of the product. After the treatment they should be
dried under a shadow, and only after the complete dry they
should be used for the planting.
We recommended the use of graphite or industrial talc
on the seed, when there is a lot of humidity in the air.
