GEAR-SHIFTING SYSTEM AND DRIVETRAIN
The cable gear change system supplied with the product is indexed and allows you to change the
gear ratio and pedal stroke metrics by adjusting the control device on the handlebar, determining
the sideways movement of the chain on the corresponding sprocket of the cassette installed on
the rear wheel via the derailleur.
Make sure the gear change and its adjustment are correct and that the chain and drive gears are
clean and properly lubricated.
TYRES
Check the inflation pressure of the tyres using a pump with a precision pressure gauge referring
to the specific range of minimum and maximum values shown on the side of the same (the
appropriate pressure value must be customized based on the weight transported, the weather
conditions and the road surface).
Properly inflated tyres, in addition to improving wheel slip, reduce the risk of punctures and
deterioration.
Check the condition and state of wear of the tyres: there must be no cuts, cracks, foreign bodies,
abnormal swelling, visible canvases and other damage.
WHEELS
Check that the wheels are correctly centred with respect to the frame and fork, that they rotate
freely and have no sideways oscillations.
Check the integrity and adequate tensioning of the spokes and the regular installation and
tightening of the quick-release devices on the front and rear wheel.
SUSPENSIONS
The suspensions supplied with the product, fork and rear shock absorber, are pre-adjusted
during the assembly phase and constitute a complete system with the frame and supporting parts
that are installed at the factory, and their configuration is essential to achieve the best riding
experience on a bicycle with two shock absorbers.
To customize the suspensions adjustment, starting from the factory configuration, it is essential
to carry out different tests and find the best solution that fits the user’ specific needs, according to
the product, the riding style and the environment of use.
Check the operation of the brakes with a low speed (max 6km/h) braking test in an obstacle-free
area before each use.
If you notice a loss of efficiency, before or while riding, do not use the product and contact your
authorized dealer or a specialized operator to have the braking system properly inspected.
