Exchange and Update Data using ActiveSync
ActiveSync software lets you synchronize data between an XG100WM and a PC. To synchronize data, you
must connect your XG100WM and PC directly using a cable or cradle or use a modem or network.
Create a User Profile
You can create a user profile to load data into a Janam XG100WM without associating that data with a
user name.
To create a user profile:
1.
Tap Start menu > Settings > Personal tab.
2.
Choose Owner Information.
3.
Enter identification, notes and display information.
4.
Tap OK to save changes.
Set up/Delete a Partnership
There are two types of partnerships that you can create with your Janam XG100WM. You can
automatically synchronize the files on your handheld device with your PC when you start your device. Or
you can establish a guest connection and manually copy the files you want to synchronize.
