Steam Boost Function
•
The steam boost function provides an extra burst of steam which is ideal for removal of
stubborn creases and wrinkles during Steam or Dry ironing.
• Turn the temperature knob at the “max” position and wait until the pilot light turns off.
• Press the “Steam boost” button and wait for a few seconds for the steam to penetrate the
fibre before pressing again.
• By pressing the steam boost button at intervals you can also iron vertically (curtains, hung
garments, etc.)
NOTE
: The steam boost function can only be used at high temperature. Several pumping
actions of the steam boost button are needed to start the steam boost function. Stop the
emission when the light indicator turns on. Ensure that the light indicator has gone out, before
ironing and operating the steam boost function.
ΝΟΤΕ
: To prevent water leakage from the soleplate do not press the steam button
continuously for more than 5 seconds.
Ironing Without Steam
•
Turn the steam knob to position “
”=0 dry ironing.
•
Select the setting on the temperature control dial most suitable for the fabric to be ironed.
•
Once the temperature has been reached, ironing may commence.
Vertical Steam boost
You can also use the steam boost function when you hold the iron in vertical position. This is
useful for removing crease from hanging clothes, curtains etc. Hold the iron in vertical position
and press and release the steam boost button.
Warning
: Never iron clothes on the body or direct steam towards people!
NOTE:
Hold the iron a few centimeters from the garment to avoid burning delicate fabrics.
Anti-calc Filter
The built-in anti-calc filter reduces the buildup of lime scale which occurs during steam ironing.
This will prolong the working life of your iron. However, please note that the anti-calc filter will
not completely stop the natural process of lime scale build-up.
