The light indicator will switch on showing that the iron is heating up. When the light indicator
switches off, wait for a while before starting ironing. The light indicator will switch on and off as
the thermostat maintains the selected temperature.
WARNING
: During ironing, the light indicator switches on and off indicating that the selected
temperature is maintained. If you change from a high temperature to a low one, do not iron
until the light indicator switches on again.
IMPORTANT
: Τhe iron should not be left unattended while it is connected to an electrical outlet.
Special care should always be taken when there are children in the house.
Steam Ironing
• The quantity of steam is regulated by the steam knob.
• Make sure that there is enough water in the water tank - at least ¼.
• Place the iron in a vertical position to stand on its heel and set the temperature control dial at
the “min” setting.
• Fill the tank with water as indicated in paragraph “Filling the water tank”.
• Plug the iron into the mains supply.
• Turn the steam knob to a position between minimum and maximum depending on the
quantity of steam required and the temperature selected.
Warning
: The iron gives off steam continuously only if you hold the iron horizontally. You can
stop the continuous steam by placing the iron in a vertical position or by moving the steam
knob to “
”=0.
Note
: You can only use steam at the highest temperatures.

When you finish ironing, turn the thermostat knob to “min” and disconnect the iron from the
supply mains. Invert iron and shake it to empty the water tank. Then stand the iron in an
upright position and allow it to cool down.
Spray Function
•
You can use the spray function at any temperature to moisten the article to be ironed. This
helps remove stubborn creases.
• Make sure that there is enough water in the water tank.
• Press the spray button several times to moisten the article to be ironed.
