Advanced Chipset Features
Main Section Functions
Configures the chipset, BIOS caching and the AGP Aper-
ture size.
Default & Autodetected Settings
Everything on this screen is an optimized default or is
autodetected.
Setting Options & Constraints
Don’t change the Delayed Transaction default.
You can adjust Cacheable defaults, the AGP Aperture and
the Delay Prior to Thermal setting. The default settings
will work.
You can set the three Cacheable settings to Enabled to
enhance system performance. If you experience system
operation problems set the Video BIOS and RAM settings
back to Disabled.
Delay Prior to Thermal sets a time-out after which, when
the CPU temperature reaches a warning threshold, the
BIOS will start reducing the CPU clock in steps to reduce
the CPU temperature.
