Memory Configuration
Layouts:
The configuration layout
shown here are the only
ones allowed. Do not use
any other layout of RIMM
and CRIMM modules. All
sockets
MUST have some
kind of module installed.
Modules install in pairs.
both modules in a pair
must be the same size, for
example, 256MB + 256MB.

Each bank has two sockets as
indicated here. you must
install modules in both
sockets of each bank.
If you don’t install memory
modules in a bank, you must
install CRIMMs.

The minimum configiration is
two RIMMs, the maximum is
four RIMMs.
Bank order does not matter.
Maximum memory 2GB.

Note:
The defaut memory con-
figuration both 400MHz
FSB and 533MHz FSB CPUs
is for PC800 memory.
If you use PC1066 RIMMs
with a Pentium 4 CPU that
has a 400MHz FSB, the
modules will not perform
at their rated speed.
If you use PC1066 RIMMs
with a Pentium 4 CPU that
has a 533MHz FSB, you
have to manually set the
RDRAM Bus Frequency to
X4 in the IWILL Smart Set-
ting section of the Award
BIOS CMOS Setup Utility.
Warning :
Do not install a mix of
PC800 and PC1066 RIMMs.
