Effective ventilation is essential when using the
•
spray gun indoors. Open windows and fans help to
circulate air.
Do not use liquids containing abrasive substances
•
such as red lead oxide, glazes, caustic and alkaline
substances. The use of these substances can cause
excessive wear and blockages in the spray gun.
Do not smoke when using the spray gun. Do not
•
eat or drink whilst using the spray gun.
Always use on approved face mask with
•
replacement filters. Hearing protection and eye
protection must also be worn (normal glasses are
not sufficient for eye protection). Approved safety
goggles are mandatory.
Keep your work area clear. Cluttered work benches
•
and work areas invite accidents. Floors should be kept
clear and free of rubbish.
For your protection, if the tool is used outdoors do
•
not expose the spray gun or compressor to rain. Do
not use it in wet or damp locations. Do not place the
tool on damp surfaces. Use a workbench if available.
Use only extension cords marked for outdoor use.
Do not use the spray gun where there is a risk of
•
fire or explosion from fIammable materials.
Never yank or pull the power cord to disconnect
•
it from the mains supply socket. If the power cord
becomes damaged it must be replaced by a qualified
service facility. Ensure the power cord is disconnected
when not in use.
Any switch that does not operate correctly must
•
be replaced. Do not use the spray gun if the On/Off
switch (3) does not turn off the unit.
Do not attempt to modify the spray gun in any
•
way.
Always keep the spray basket nozzle (6) in place
•
during use.
Beware of any hazard by the material being
•
sprayed and consult the markings on the container or
the information supplied by the manufacturer.Do not
spray any material where the hazard is not known.
Always read the paint manufacturers thinning
•
recommendations or instructions before using paint
or other materials.
Do not clean with flammable liquids with a flash
•
point less than 32°C.
Always disconnect from the mains supply when
•
filling the paint cup (5) or cleaning the spray gun.
Switch off when not spraying and avoid running
•
the unit with the fluid adjustment knob (2) fully
closed for any length.
Unpacking
When unpacking, check to make sure that all
components are included. Refer to the drawings
on this manual. If any parts are missing or broken,
please call IVT assistance center.
Initial operation
ATTENTION! Do not use textured wall
paints or coatings as this will block the
nozzle.
NOTE: Many substances can be sprayed with your
spray gun, but always check the manufacturers
recommendations before purchasing your

To obtain the best results, it is important that you

prepare the surface to be sprayed and thin the paint to
the correct viscosity, before you operate your spray gun.
Always ensure that the surfaces to be sprayed are

free from dust, dirt and grease.
Make sure that you have masked the areas

that should not be sprayed, using a good quality
masking tape.
The paint or fluid to be sprayed should be
•
thoroughly mixed and free from lumps or other
particles.
ATTENTION! Always remember to
disconnect from the mains supply
before filling the paint cup (5) with
sprayable material.
Thinning the paint

and will need to be thinned before they are suitable
