3. Position the pit module vertically so the top of the pit module is between 1 and 2-inches
below the bottom of the lid.
4. Mark the location of the top mounting hole.
5. Drill a pilot hole in the pit box wall. Follow the screw manufacturer's recommendation for
the pilot hole size.
6. For concrete-type pit boxes, it may be necessary to use a screw anchor. Choose an
anchor appropriate for a #10 pan head screw.
