Troubleshooting
Description

1.
The EndoPAT
TM
x device
does not switch on (the
POWER LED on the
device is not on)
The EndoPAT
TM
x device power
is switched off.
Switch on the EndoPAT
TM
x device.
Power cable is not plugged to
the power outlet.
Switch off the EndoPAT
TM
x device.
Plug the power cable to the power outlet.
Switch on the EndoPAT
TM
x device.
Power cable is not connected to
the EndoPAT
TM
x device.
Switch off the EndoPAT
TM
x device.
Plug the power cable to the EndoPAT
TM
x
device.
Switch on the EndoPAT
TM
x device.
Fuse is burnt
Switch off the EndoPAT
TM
x device.
Unplug the power cable to the EndoPAT
TM
x
device.
With a screwdriver No 1 or smaller remove the
unit (1) from the filter.
Replace the burnt fuse located on the topside
(2) behind the switch.Note: On the bottom side
(3) is a spare fuse.
Return the fuse holder to the switch, plug in the
power cable and turn on the EndoPATx device.

No communication
between PC station and
EndoPAT
TM
x device (the
COMM LED on the
device is not lit)
EndoPAT
TM
x power switch is
off.
Verify that the orange LED is on.
Switch on the EndoPAT
TM
x device.
Communication cable between
PC station and EndoPAT
TM
x
device is not connected.
Verify that the communication cable is
connected properly.
Another application is assigned
to the COM port.
Close all background applications.
Verify that the COM port connected to the
EndoPAT
TM
x device is not in use by another
application.
The communication cable is
connected to the wrong COM
port.
Plug communication cable into the other COM
port.
Try setting another COM port in the
application.
3.
Frequent pressure leaks
during study
The pneumatic probe cable is
not well connected to the probe
or to the EndoPAT
TM
x device.
Verify that the pneumatic probe cable is
securely connected to the probe and to the
EndoPAT
TM
x device and that the connections
are free from lint or other residues.
Faulty probe.
Replace PAT
™
probe.
