4.5.3
Standby Stage
Once probes are properly connected (see section Preparation of fingers and hands
before a study), and the system completes its internal tests, the Standby button turns
enabled (
)
When Standby button is clicked, the system inflates the probes to pre-configured
pressure, starts the PAT signal display and Standby button changes to (
).
In Standby mode the system displays the signals. The operator can adjust gain for
optimal view. The signal is not being recorded in Standby mode once the system is
stable and signal quality is acceptable start the recording by pressing the Baseline
button
.
Note
Standby mode is for assessing signal quality and assuring
system stability before recording.
Signals are not being recorded during Standby!
4.5.4
Baseline
Click on the Baseline button (
) to enter the Baseline Stage. The icon is changed
(
to reflect that the stage is active. Standby Stage bookmark and Standby
Button will be displayed greyed-out on the Study progression timeline.
Baseline Stage timer (
) is displayed, indicating the time elapsed since stage
initiation and the recommended time for this stage. If stage elapsed time exceeds the
recommended time, a “+” sign is displayed before the timer.
A Stage Reset button is displayed next to the time to allow restarting the stage.
