**) Adding a second pulse module to slot 1 retrospectively
can cause the set pulse duration for module 2 to change!
1.Pulse outputs for the fast pulse min. 5ms
2.First and second channels can be individually parame-
terised
3.Secondary address for both modules can only be modi-
fied via module no. 1
4.The analog module cannot be used in slot 2 for meters
with 110 V / 230 V power module.
Installation
a) Mounting meter
1.
Flush pipeline according to DIN/EN. Observe the
country specific regulations!
2.
Note the direction of flow and compare with the arrow
on the meter.
3.
Close the shut-off devices in front and behind the in-
stallation site.
4.
Dismount adapter, if neccessary.
5.
Clean sealing surfaces.
6.
Only insert a new profile sealing.
7.
Insert new seal.
8.
Note the direction of flow and compare with the arrow
on the meter.
9.
Mount meter.
10. Tighten all screw connections(in case of flange con-
nection tighten nuts crosswise).
11. Install temperature sensors, depending on version,
into tees, ball valves or immersion sleeves.
b) Wall mounted ALU (optional)
1.
Pull the calculator off the attachment.
2.
Unscrew the attachment with a screw driver.
3.
Prior to drilling, check that there are no electricity ca-
bles, gas or water pipes below the surface at the instal-
lation site.
4.
Drill hole into the wall (6 mm).
5.
Insert dowels.
6.
Attach the mounting plate to the wall.
7.
Attach the calculator to the installation base from
above.
c) Mounting batteries
1.
Press the four side tabs of the housing cover inward
and remove the cover.
2.
Turn the label plate back clockwise into its original po-
sition
3.
Fold down the red locking hatch corresponding to bat-
tery selection (left compartment for 2x ‘AA’ or ‘C’, right
compartment for ‘D’).
4.
Insert the battery into the corresponding compartment
acc. to the marking and in correct polarity.

The batteries of size ‘AA’ and ‘C’ are snapped in
into a holding bracket.
5.
Turn the label plate back clockwise into its original po-
sition.
d) Mounting the power supply module
1.
Press the four side tabs of the housing cover inward
and remove the cover.
2.
Turn the label plate back clockwise into its original po-
sition
3.
Move the red locking hatch to the left
4.
Remove the right outer rubber grommet in upward di-
rection and pull the sealing plug.
5.
Thread the connecting cable (line voltage) of the mod-
ule through the sleeve.
6.
Insert the module in the upper right-hand corner of the
electronic unit and re-insert the sleeve with the cable
from above.
7.
Connect the conductors as labeled.
8.
Plug the other connecting cable (low voltage) onto the
plug connector on the circuit board.
e) Installing the communication module
1.
Insert the communication module into both both guide
notches and slide it in.
2.
To connect with the external cable, cut off the fourth or
fifth support sleeve from the left according to the cross-
section of the connection cable.

The cable support sleeves must be cut
off so that they tightly surround the ca-
ble.
