8. Move over to the upper half of the mattress support.

Lift the section in the middle. Standing with one foot inside the
bed base frame, lower the section down onto the shear arms,
until the square plastic guides on the shear arms

Stand on the middle long side of the bed. Fit the inserts into the
tubes and push the sections together. Make sure the inserts are
pushed all the way in (no gap on the frame).
11. Tighten the screws G on the lower half of the mattress support
and the finger screws K , under the side tubes on each side of the
mattress support.
12. Connect all plugs from the section motors to the control box
according to the label on the control box and the markings on
the plugs.
Make sure that all motor wires are placed over the shear
arms and running free from moving parts.
13. Attach the locking cam over the plugs.
14. Connect the bed to the mains.
3.2.3 Disassembly of mattress support (2 persons)

IMPORTANT!

Two persons are needed to carry out these
instructions.
Person one = in the head end of the bed.
Person two = in the foot end of the bed.
1. Lock the brakes.
2. Insert the plug from the hi/lo motor in the control box and
connect the bed to the mains.

Use the hand control to raise the bed until the plastic guides are
centred in the middle of the guideways.
4. Remove the locking cam from the control unit and disconnect
all motor plugs from the control box and disconnect the bed
from the mains.
5. Loosen and remove the finger screws in the middle of the
mattress support.

Person one: Pull out the upper half of the mattress support until
the inserts are out of the tubes.
Person two: Support the lower half of the mattress support.
7.
Person one: Support the upper half of the mattress support.
Person two: Tilt the lower half of the mattress support (bed end
attachments towards the floor) and leave it hanging.
8.
Both persons: Grab the sides of the upper half of the mattress
support. Slide/lift the section out of the guideways.
