3. Lift the shear arms in both ends, onto the base frame.
•
The person in the head end of the bed fits the square plastic
guides into the guideways.
at the same time:
•
The person in the bed foot end fits the shear arms pivots on
top of the spacers
A
and the ends of the shear arms onto
the attachments B on the base frame.
4.
Attach the hi/lo motor to the frame with the cotter pin. Make
sure the clamp is closing properly.
5.
Put back the cotter pins in the ends of the shear arms and close
the clamps.
Make sure the plastic bushings C are correctly inserted
before closing the clamp.
3.3.2 Disassembly of shear arms
The shear arms have to be in the lowest position before
starting.
