Assembly

6.

Both persons: Grab the sides of the lower half of the mattress
support. Lift and tip it up to horizontal position. Fit the snap
locks on the mattress support section on the shear arms pivots
and push it down until both sides lock with a clicking sound. Pin
in = open.

Make sure the snap locks are properly locked before
proceeding. If not, turn the red buttons

anti-clockwise

to lock.

7.

Tilt the lower half of the mattress support (bed end attachments
towards the floor) and leave it hanging.

8.

Both persons: Grab the sides of the upper half of the mattress
support. Lift and tip it up to horizontal position.

9.

Fit the square plastic guides

on the shear arms into the

guideways

I

on the mattress support frame.

10.

Both persons: Stand one person on each side and hold both
sections. Fit the inserts into the tubes and press the sections
together. Make sure the inserts are pushed all the way in (no
gap on the frame).

11. Tighten the screws on the lower half of the mattress support

and the finger screws, under the side tubes on each side of the
mattress support.

12. Connect all motor plugs to the control box (see label on the

control box for correct placement).

Make sure that all motor wires are placed over the shear
arms and running free from moving parts.

13. Attach the locking cam over the plugs.
14. Connect the bed to the mains.

3.2.2

Assembly of mattress support (1 person)

1.

Lock the brakes.

2.

Insert the plug from the hi/lo motor in the control box and
connect the bed to the mains.

3.

Lower the bed completely down.

4.

Disconnect all motor plugs from the control box and disconnect
the bed from the mains.

5.

Pull out the red buttons

on each side of the mattress support

section and turn them anti-clockwise to open the snap locks

Pin out = open.

6.

Hold the lower half of the mattress support

in an upright

position; leaning on the bed end attachments. Tilt it in over the
base frame

. Lower it until the snap locks

7.

Push the section towards the middle of the bed until the snap
locks are locked with a clicking sound. Pin in = open.

Make sure the snap locks are properly locked before
proceeding. If not, turn the red buttons
