Graphical Display
Screen • This graphical user interface provides a highly visible readout
which allows test engineers, production operators, and non-
technical users optimum ease of use with minimum learning
time.
• The screens displayed typically show menus, programmed
values (setpoints and soaks), Device Under Test (DUT) and
THERMOSTREAM
®
temperatures, soak times, and cycle
numbers.
• Additional menus show test setups, system configuration, and
calibration.
• Menu choices which correspond to various functions are
displayed at the bottom of the screen, above the Program
Buttons.
Program Buttons There are five (5) Program Buttons in a single horizontal line
directly below the Graphical Display Screen. The Program
Buttons can be pressed to select the menu choices displayed
above them.
System Control
(Rotary) Encoder Used to cycle through parameters in the Setup Screen and
Operator Screen .
To Cycle through the parameters in the Setup Screens :
1. Rotate the encoder clockwise or counterclockwise within the
screens.
To Change a parameter in the Setup Screens :
1. Cycle through the parameters until the desired parameter is
reached.
2. Press the encoder, the cursor now blinks over the selected
parameter.
3. Rotate the encoder to change the value of the blinking param-
eter.
4. Press the encoder again to accept the change.
5. TO EXIT and SAVE the parameter change(s), press the
“DONE” program button
TO EXIT WITHOUT SAVING the parameter change(s),
press the “ ESC” program button.
ATTENTION
- Parameter changes and Test Setups should be saved
under Test Setup “1” through “12”.
- DO NOT save under Test Setup “0” as “0” is the
System default. Test Setup “0” is over written
because it always reflects the last Test Setup used.
- The desired Test Setup should be selected BEFORE
parameter changes are made.
