Section 9, The Space Heating Module (optional)
and water connections and 3” clearance to all other Space
Heating Module surfaces.
•
If the Space Heating Module is not mounted in the highest point
of the circulating system, an inline bleeder must be added at
the highest point of the system to allow removal of any
entrapped air.

Selecting the Space Heating Module
Zone Box Location
•
Mount the Space Heating Module Zone Box (containing the
zone board) vertically, close to the Space Heating Module.
Allow sufficient room to access the internal fuses as well as to
view the display LED’s on the board itself.
•
The module is connected to the space heating zone board
through the electrical connections located at the bottom of the
control board box and the distance apart is dictated by the
length of the 2 and 4 pin connector cords used.
9.5 Plumbing Installation
All fittings on the Space Heating Module and WaterHeater™ require
two wrenches when tightening. One wrench must be placed on the
tank fitting and held in place to prevent this fitting from being
overstressed. The other wrench can be used to tighten the
matching half of the fitting onto it. Failure to follow this procedure
will damage the Space Heating Module, WaterHeater™ and the
fittings, see Figure 9-1: Space Heating Module Plumbing Fittings.
