ERROR - Total amount of memory does not display.
Reason Solution
Faulty SIMM(s). Identify faulty SIMM(s) by swapping
SIMM(s) until the faulty one is found. See
System Reference.
SIMM(s) not properly seated into socket(s). Ensure SIMM(s) are properly installed. See
System Reference.
ERROR - I/O card parity error message displays.
Reason Solution
Faulty option board is installed in ISA slot. Remove ISA board, then restart the system.

Sound
ERROR - Sound cannot be heard.
Reason Solution
Volume of speakers on multimedia keyboard
is low or off. Adjust volume up, release Mute button or set
slider switch to speaker position on
multimedia keyboard.
Speaker cable is not properly connected. Verify cable is properly connected.
Volume is turned off in the program. Double-click the speaker icon in the taskbar
tray and increase the master volume.
Headphones are plugged into the
multimedia keyboard. Unplug the headphones.
Sound files work properly, but audio CD’s
produce no sound. Verify the CD audio cable is connected
between the CD-ROM drive and
motherboard.
